A little too clearly...
A white shirt is a classic look. It can be paired with almost anything and remain appropriate. Many employees are instructed by their employers to wear black pants and a white blouse in order to look approachable to the customers. However, there is one thing that without a doubt makes a white shirt one of the biggest mistakes a girl could make. Not wearing the right colored bra. I know you've all seen that girl. You know, the one who wears a skin tight white shirt with a blue bra underneath. Oh, and the straps are pink with white polka dots...or some rendition of that. It's quite possibly one of the most disturbing things one could experience. No one, I mean no one, wants to see what you've got going on underneath.
So, what is one to do about this situation? Well, it's easy. Find a bra that matches your current skin tone. If the bra is the same color as your skin tone it will blend well with your skin and will be practically invisible underneath a white shirt. Many people think that the right bra to wear under a white shirt is a white bra, but they are wrong. It is impossible to math your white bra with every white shirt you own because every white will be different, and thus the bra will show through if the colors do not match. That is why getting a skin toned bra works perfectly, because your skin color does not change all that often. For younger people you can always wear a camisole underneath the white shirt if you cannot find a skin toned bra that you like. Of course, skin toned camisoles are hard to come by as well. However, I think it's worth taking your time to find one of the aforementioned options to eliminate having to stand in front of a mirror, blue bra and all, and ask yourself, "What was I thinking?"
