What do I mean by tied up? You know the girl, (or guy, I'm not one for gender discrimination) who appears from the front to have on the average pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and then, dun dun dun, he/she turns away from you and you get a little bit of a surprise. What is that surprise? The unnecessary amount of skin sneaking out beneath a tight t-shirt that has been tied with non other than a hair tie. Why is this such a fashion mistake. Well, to put it quite frankly, it's tacky! What is the point? A t-shirt is a t-shirt, it's not supposed to be tight! Please, don't do this to yourself! The only time that this is acceptable for girls is, for example, in a pageant when the t-shirt you receive always seems to be too big and it looks cute to tie it up on the side with a hair bow or scrunchy. Honestly, I can't think of any other occasion that it would be acceptable to wear one's t-shirt in such a way.
So please, don't be the one that makes me cringe, ask yourself, "What am I thinking?" before you walk out the door (man or woman) with the back of your t-shirt tied up with a hair tie!
You think this is bad? Pshhh....be on the look out for the girl (or guy) with the t-shirt tied up in the back with the skin showing....then you'll see bad!
