Spring Is In the Air

The air is warm and the sun is shining, and people are beginning to wear open toed shoes. Not such a big deal. Right? Well, that is partially right because Spring shoes are so much cuter than nasty winter shoes but in the spring, toes come out. All kinds of toes: fat toes, long toes, hairy toes, and most atrocious: poorly painted/unpainted toe nails. Even though some people may not think that anyone will pay attention to their disgusting toenails, this is not the case, because I pay attention. One can buy a manicure set for five dollars or less at their local Wal Mart, Target, or Dollar General, so why not do it? Painting ones toe nails only takes about fifteen minutes, and it's not that much of a burden. There really is not an excuse not to paint ones toe nails because unlike the fingernails you don't have to alternate hands in order to get the other side that doesn't accompany the hand that you naturally use. Also, if one is financially capable then it is beneficial to start spring out right and get a pedicure. The average pedicure costs about twenty dollars if it is done professionally. Getting a professional pedicure is satisfactory because, on average, it lasts longer than if one does it themselves. One does not have to pay extra for the professional polish that is used. The average professional pedicure lasts anywhere from two to three weeks depending on the care that is taken. I personally believe that spending twenty dollars every three weeks for decent looking toe nails is just plain common sense.
